Embark on a thrilling adventure as you escape to the majestic Himalayas on Day 01. Your journey begins with an arrival in Shimla, where you'll be swept away by the enchanting views before embarking on a scenic drive to Sangla/Rakcham. Along the way, soak in the beauty of Shimla, Kufri, and quaint villages, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience.

Day 02 promises to be filled with exploration as you delve deeper into the last frontier. Visit Rakcham and Chitkul Village, the final stop on the ancient Indo-Tibetan trade route, and be mesmerized by the breathtaking vistas of Baspa River and Valley. Continue your adventure to Kalpa, where Roghi Village and Suicide Point offer panoramic views of the iconic Kinner Kailash mountain range.

On Day 03, set out on a mystical trail to Tabo/Poh, immersing yourself in the rich culture and heritage of the region. Explore Nako village and Gue Village, home to the ancient Gue Mummy, before arriving in Tabo/Poh to discover its ancient Buddhist monasteries and nearby caves used by monks for meditation.

Day 04 takes you on a journey to unveil Spiti's hidden treasures. Visit Dhankar village and its monastery perched high above the valley, then explore the wildlife-rich Pin Valley before arriving in Kaza, the main town in Spiti Valley, where adventure awaits.

Experience the magic of Spiti Valley on Day 05 as you visit iconic landmarks such as Key Monastery, Kibber village, and the awe-inspiring Chicham Bridge, the highest suspension bridge in the world. Hunt for fossils in Langza, visit the world's highest post office in Hikkim, and explore the picturesque village of Komic.

Day 06 is a journey to the moon lake, Chandratal, where you'll be surrounded by stunning scenery. Stop at Losar village and Kunzum Pass along the way, and take in the breathtaking beauty of Chandratal Lake with its crystal-clear waters and snow-capped peaks.

Finally, bid farewell to the mountains on Day 07 as you journey through Batal and Chhatru, with a stop at the famous Chacha Chachi Dhaba, before reaching Manali via the Atal Tunnel. Depart with cherished memories of an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the Himalayas.

Itinerary

Leave from Delhi by night and reach Shimla the next morning.

Begin your journey with an overnight ride from Delhi to Shimla. Upon arrival in Shimla in the morning, our driver will be ready to pick you up for the approximately 220KM journey to Sangla/Rakcham. En route, relish the picturesque views of Shimla, Kufri, and quaint villages like Rampur, Tranda Dhank, Wangtu, and Karcham. Upon reaching Sangla/Rakcham, check into your accommodation, unwind, and, if time permits, explore the surroundings. Enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in Sangla/Rakcham.

After breakfast, embark on a journey to Rakcham and Chitkul Village, the final stop on the old Indo-Tibetan trade route. Marvel at the breathtaking vistas of Baspa River and Valley along the way. Continuing for approximately 61KM, arrive in Kalpa, with a possible exploration of Peo Market upon reaching Reckong Peo. In Kalpa, visit Roghi Village and Suicide Point to behold the renowned Kinner Kailash mountain range. Finally, check into your accommodation, have dinner, and retire for the night.

Following breakfast, proceed towards Tabo/Poh on a journey spanning around 170KM. Enjoy views of the Satluj & Spiti Rivers at Khab and savor lunch in Nako village. If time permits, visit Gue village to witness the 500-year-old Gue Mummy. Continue the journey to Tabo/Poh for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay, where ancient Buddhist Monasteries and nearby caves await exploration.

Commence the day with a short hike to Tabo Caves, lasting about an hour. After breakfast, visit Tabo Monastery before heading to Kaza (approximately 48 KM) via Dhankar and Pin Valley. Explore the monastery at Dhankar village, perched high above the valley. If time allows, discover Pin Valley, renowned for its diverse wildlife. Arrive in Kaza, the primary town in Spiti Valley, and spend the night there.

Embark on a captivating journey through Spiti Valley. Visit the ancient Key Monastery, followed by Kibber village and its monastery and wildlife sanctuary. Witness the awe-inspiring Chicham Bridge, connecting two villages. Explore Langza for fossils and handicrafts, and visit Hikkim, home to the world's highest post office. Conclude the day in Komic, the world's highest motorable village, nestled amidst breathtaking mountains.

After breakfast, depart for Chandratal, a journey of approximately 97KM. Visit Losar village and Kunzum Pass, pausing for tea and blessings at Kunzum Mata Mandir. By late afternoon or evening, reach the Chandratal campsite, surrounded by stunning scenery. Engage in hiking and trekking activities, and marvel at the beauty of Chandratal Lake. Return to the camp for the night.

Commence the day with breakfast before embarking on the journey to Manali, covering approximately 112KM. Traverse through Batal and Chhatru, with a stop at the renowned Chacha Chachi Dhaba in Batal. Journey via the Atul Tunnel to reach Manali by late afternoon or evening. Upon arrival, bid farewell to the driver and depart with cherished memories, or continue your journey to Delhi.

    No individual or third party is permitted to use, reproduce, or distribute any digital content without prior written permission from Travelxpeditions.


    Payment Policy

    • Full payment of the trip cost must be completed before the trip departure date.

    • Any pending payment may result in cancellation of the booking without prior notice.

    • No traveler will be allowed to board without completing the full payment.


    Government ID Requirement

    • All travelers must carry a valid Government-issued ID proof.

    • ID verification will be conducted before boarding.

    • Boarding will not be permitted without valid identification.


    Booking & Transfer Policy

    • Bookings are non-transferable.

    • Only the person(s) whose name is mentioned at the time of confirmation will be allowed to travel.

    • Name changes after confirmation are not permitted.


    Refund Policy

    • No refund shall be provided for any services or inclusions not availed by the traveler.

    • No refund will be provided if a traveler misses the departure.

    • Travelers missing the bus will not be eligible for refunds.

    Travelxpeditions will attempt to contact the traveler twice before departure time.


    Reporting & Departure Guidelines

    • Travelers must report at the pickup point at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

    • Departure timings are fixed and must be strictly followed.

    • All travelers must stay in contact and update their status with the assigned Trip Coordinator.


    Travel & Transportation Guidelines

    • Air Conditioning may be switched off in hilly areas or challenging terrain for safety reasons.

    • During the journey, the driver has full discretion to switch off the AC when required for safety and comfort.

    • The management will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to luggage or personal belongings.


    Health & Fitness

    • Some tours may involve physically demanding activities such as trekking, camping at high altitudes, or long travel hours.

    • Participants are advised to ensure they are physically fit before booking such trips.


    Code of Conduct

    • Drinking alcohol and smoking during travel are strictly prohibited due to safety and health concerns.

    • Any misconduct, indiscipline, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

    • Travelxpeditions reserves the right to remove any participant from the trip without refund in case of misconduct.


    Liability Disclaimer

    Travelxpeditions shall not be held responsible for:

    • Natural calamities

    • Landslides or road blockages

    • Political closures

    • Accidents or vehicle breakdown

    • Weather disruptions

    • Delays due to unforeseen circumstances

    We do not provide travel insurance covering sickness, accidents, theft, or personal loss. Travelers are advised to arrange personal travel insurance if required.


    Itinerary Changes

    Due to factors such as weather conditions, road situations, or the physical ability of participants, the itinerary may be modified.

    Travelxpeditions reserves the right to make necessary changes in the schedule in the interest of safety, comfort, and overall well-being of the group.

  • No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations. However,
  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
